In the heart of Aberdeen City centre, as part of the stunning Union Terrace Gardens, we occupy the magnificent terrace by the towering statue of William Wallace and at the top of the grand staircase into the gardens. The Common Sense Coffee House and Bar is somewhere to relax, somewhere that soothes and – most of all – an inclusive space for enjoyment, whether alone, with family, with friends, with loved ones or starting new relationships. Open for all to enjoy, family and pet friendly.

Our menu covers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and pre-theatre, with freshly baked goods, soups, and our signature ‘build a croissant or toastie.’ All drinks are catered for from coffees, teas, matcha to draught IPA and lager from local breweries, to great wines, spirits, and crafted cocktails.
